About the Role :

We are scaling our AI-powered, 15-minute health and wellness delivery platform, where every second matters. To keep up with rapid growth, were hiring a Backend Engineer who can build scalable APIs, integrate AI and chat-based workflows, and manage real-time pharmacy inventory and logistics.

This role is mission-critical : as we expand rapidly, the backend must be robust, reliable, and lightning-fast to ensure smooth order routing, accurate medicine availability, and seamless customer experiences at scale. Youll be working at the heart of the companys chat-first platform, powering the technology that enables users to get their medicines and wellness products in minutes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable APIs with FastAPI / Django.

- Integrate third-party APIs such as OpenAI, WhatsApp Business, and Gemini.

- Manage real-time data flows across MySQL and MongoDB.

- Ensure backend systems are secure, testable, and production-ready.

- Deploy applications via Docker/NGINX with CI/CD pipelines.

- Deliver a stable, high-performance backend that powers Rios chat-first customer
experience.

- Ensure reliable medicine availability and support fast order routing at scale.

Qualifications & Skills Required :

- 1 to 3 years of experience in backend development.

- Proficiency in Python, FASTAPI, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Experience with AWS and CI/CD Pipelines.

- Strong understanding of building and managing scalable APIs. Ability to integrate complex third-party APIs.
