Experience Required :

- 2- 5 Years of experience in Python backend development

- 2- 5 Years of hands-on backend development experience in PHP/Laravel

Must Have :

- PHP & Laravel Framework (2- 5 Years)

- Python Backend Development (2- 5 Years)

- RESTful API Design & Development (2- 5 Years)

- SQL / Relational Databases (2- 5 Years)

- Generative AI Tools - GitHub Copilot / ChatGPT or equivalent (Min. 1 Year)

- Git / Version Control (2+ Years)

- SDLC Artifact Creation (2+ Years)

Good-to-Have :

- CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions)

- Docker / Kubernetes

- Microservices Architecture

- NoSQL Databases (Redis / MongoDB)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Maintain and support the existing legacy PHP/Laravel backend codebase

- Migrate and re-implement backend services from PHP/Laravel to Python following defined architectural guidelines

- Produce all required SDLC artifacts including Technical Design Documents, API Documentation, Test Plans, and Release Notes

- Participate in internal group reviews including architecture, security, and code reviews

- Support all phases of testing - Unit, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT

- Assist in production cutover activities including deployment planning, go-live execution, and rollback support

- Provide post-production warranty support - monitoring, incident response, and hotfix delivery

- Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate code development, assist in PHP-to-Python migration, and improve overall productivity
