Backend Engineer - Node.js/Typescript/MongoDB

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Build efficient, scalable, and secure data models and queries using MongoDB.

- Implement and optimize business logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to define API specifications and data contracts.

- Manage integrations with third-party systems and APIs.

- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).

- Work with DevOps teams to manage deployments, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.

- Solid experience with MongoDB (data modeling, aggregation, indexing, performance tuning).

- In-depth knowledge of REST API architecture and microservices design.

- Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Familiarity with error handling, logging, and monitoring tools.

- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.

- Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
