Backend Engineer - Node.js/Python

Backend Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to build and scale our core systems. You'll work with Node.js or Python to design and deploy fault-tolerant microservices on Kubernetes, own the end-to-end cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP, and ensure our APIs are secure and reliable.

Responsibilities :

- Build and manage microservices on Kubernetes using Docker.

- Architect robust data layers with MySQL and MongoDB.

- Design and develop scalable backend systems with Node.js or Python.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and optimize system performance.

- Use Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka for asynchronous services.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP, including storage, CDNs, and load balancers.

Qualifications :

- Proficiency in Node.js or Python.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, or SQS.

- Experience with MySQL or MongoDB.

- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

- Preferred : Experience with Terraform or Helm, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.

- Understanding of microservices and RESTful API design.

- 4+ years of backend development experience.
