Backend Engineer - Node.js/Javascript

Responsibilities:

- Lead and optimize the product roadmap strategy; implement solutions with speed and precision.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA teams, and fellow developers to ensure alignment with the long-term tech roadmap.

- Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code that sets a benchmark for the team.

- Maintain clear documentation and workflow visibility across teams to ensure workload balance and transparency.

- Design and oversee comprehensive testing schedules across browsers and devices to guarantee a consistent user experience.

- Evaluate system solutions by comparing build vs. buy approaches and recommend the best path forward.

Requirements:

- Proficient in Node.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Redis.

- Hands-on experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth.

- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), developing or experimenting with them, is a plus.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex systems clearly.

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant backend development experience.
