A technology company in the software development & IT services sector building scalable, cloud-native web platforms and APIs for B2B customers.

We deliver production-grade backend systems that power customer-facing products and internal tooling, prioritizing reliability, security, and measurable business impact.

We are hiring a remote Backend Engineer (based in India) with ~4 years of hands-on backend development experience to design, implement, and operate high-throughput services across the product lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, secure backend services and RESTful APIs that meet latency and throughput SLAs.

- Develop and maintain microservices, database schemas, and data access layers with a focus on performance and maintainability.

- Integrate backend systems with third-party services and message-driven architectures (queues, event streams).

- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.

- Diagnose production issues, perform profiling and tuning, and implement observability (metrics, logs, traces) and alerting.

- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and QA teams to deliver features on aggressive roadmaps and mentor junior engineers.

Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- Node. js.

- Express. js.

- RESTful API design.

- PostgreSQL.

- MongoDB.

- Docker.

Preferred :

- Kubernetes.

- AWS.

Minimum Qualifications : Approximately 4 years of professional backend development experience; eligibility to work in India.

Remote-first role with expectations for reliable overlap with IST working hours.
