Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure backend services.

- Take ownership of complex modules and deliver end-to-end features in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, DevOps, and QA.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.

- Drive performance optimizations and scalability improvements in existing systems.

- Conduct design and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce coding standards.

- Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve engineering efficiency.

- Ensure system reliability and observability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development.

- Strong proficiency in backend languages : Java

- Experience building RESTful APIs

- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API design.

- Proficiency with databases: both relational SQL, MySQL, MongoDB

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP.

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in high-scale distributed systems and real-time applications.

- Contribution to open-source or technical blogs / whitepapers.

- Experience in DevOps practices or infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
