Responsibilities :

- Take end-to-end ownership of backend architecture for one of our core product lines.

- Build high-performance, scalable APIs on the Java/Kotlin stack.

- Collaborate with product, design, and frontend leads to ship meaningful features fast.

- Mentor 2-5 engineers, review code, and guide technical direction.

- Solve real-world scaling and design challenges in a fast-evolving stack.

- Drive code quality, deployment efficiency, and system stability.

Requirements :

- Has 8-10 years of backend development experience.

- Is hands-on with Java/Kotlin and can design scalable APIs from scratch.

- Has strong DSA / problem-solving skills (this is a must).

- Can guide junior engineers while being an IC.

- Comes from a Tier-1 college or top product/startup background.

- Thrives in lean, fast-paced environments and wants full ownership.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to fintech / B2C consumer products.

- Prior experience owning a backend vertical independently.

- System design exposure (not a blocker, but preferred).

Tech Stack :

- Languages: Java, Kotlin (JVM-based).

- Cloud: AWS (extensively used).

- Databases and Tools: RDBMS, NoSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.

- Architecture: Microservices, RESTful APIs.
