Backend Engineer - Java

About the Opportunity :

Our global clients in Korea and APAC are building secure backend platforms that support large-scale user traffic, including URL infrastructure, authentication layers, and high-performance distributed systems.

You will work on designing, scaling, and maintaining mission-critical backend services used by millions of users globally.

Core Technical Skills :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build secure, high-performance backend services for large-scale distributed systems.

- Implement backend components such as URL infrastructure, API services, or platform-level core services.

- Participate in architecture design discussions and conduct code reviews.

- Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability across high-traffic environments.

- Work proactively and independently with strong ownership of deliverables.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Core / Spring Boot).

- Hands-on experience with MSA or Kubernetes.

- Experience with at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB).

- Experience with Kafka or other message queues.

- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, and Distributed Systems.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Proactive, positive attitude, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Good communication skills and strong English proficiency.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with large-scale distributed systems (HBase, Vitese, etc.).

- Experience in Server Architecture Design for massive traffic systems.

- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or Clean Architecture.
