Backend Engineer - Express.js/Node.js

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.

- Work on database design, optimization, and query performance (SQL/NoSQL).

- Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend systems.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver seamless product experiences.

- Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and cloud solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in Node.js (Express.js / Nest.js or similar frameworks).

- Proficiency in working with databases relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

- Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and system integrations.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
