Backend Engineer - C#/.Net

Job Description :

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET (Core & Framework).

- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders to define and deliver features.

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications and databases.

- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservice Architecture.

- Contribute to front-end integration using frameworks like Angular, React, or Blazor.

- Deploy and manage solutions on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or Octopus Deploy.

- Share, implement, and advocate for best engineering practices across the team.

- Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring code quality and effective delivery.

Qualifications and Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in software development, with strong focus on .NET/C# technologies.

- Proven experience in backend architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications.

- Proficiency in designing clean, maintainable APIs and relational databases (SQL Server) as well as non relational (MongoDB).

- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices design patterns, code reviews, unit and integration testing (NUnit, Playwright).

- Hands-on experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and database optimization.

- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with leadership and mentoring experience.
