About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back-End Developer (Python) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, API design, and cloud-based deployment.

This role requires hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications and working in a collaborative agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs using FastAPI and/or Django

- Develop and manage relational databases using SQL

- Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments

- Containerize applications using Docker

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization

- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 15 years of hands-on experience in backend development

- Strong proficiency in Python

- Experience with FastAPI and/or Django

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design

- Experience working with AWS services

- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments

- Good understanding of RESTful API design principles

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to Have :

- Experience in the Life Sciences domain

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with microservices architecture
