About the Role :

Were looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and/or Go to join our core engineering team. Youll work on building scalable backend systems that power high-impact data platforms and developer tools. This role demands a strong grasp of backend architectures, open-source technologies, and a deep builders mindset.

Youll be part of a fast-moving, high-ownership team solving foundational engineering problems that drive long-term platform success.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and scale backend services using Python or Go

- Contribute to high-performance, reliable APIs and data processing pipelines

- Write clean, modular, testable code with a focus on maintainability

- Work closely with platform, DevOps, and product teams to deliver robust integrations

- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical designs

- Leverage open-source tools and contribute back where applicable

- Troubleshoot and optimize performance in distributed systems

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in backend development

- Strong proficiency in Python (Go is a strong plus)

- Solid understanding of system design, REST APIs, and backend infrastructure

- Hands-on experience with open-source tools, libraries, or contributions

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries

- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

Good to Have :

- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous programming

- Knowledge of gRPC, GraphQL, or other modern API standards

- Exposure to cloud-native ecosystems (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile
