About the Role :

We are a high-growth technology company building lightning-fast, scalable backend systems. We are seeking a performance-oriented Backend Developer to design, build, and optimize robust APIs using modern asynchronous Python frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and scale high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.

- Implement strict data validation, serialization, and schema definitions using Pydantic.

- Design and integrate caching strategies, rate-limiting, and background task queues (e.g., Celery) using Redis.

- Write efficient, non-blocking, asynchronous code (async/await) to handle high-concurrency requests.

- Collaborate with frontend engineers to define seamless API contracts and integrate UI components.

- Write unit and integration tests (using Pytest) to maintain high code coverage and reliability.

- Deploy and monitor backend services across AWS/cloud environments.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 1 to 4 years of dedicated experience in backend software development.

- Strong proficiency in Python with demonstrable experience writing asynchronous code.

- Hands-on, production-level experience building APIs with FastAPI.

- Deep understanding of Pydantic for data parsing and validation.

- Practical experience utilizing Redis for caching and session management.

- Solid grasp of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs (SQLAlchemy or SQLModel).

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of web sockets for real-time application features.

- Prior exposure to Fintech, high-frequency trading, or transaction-heavy platforms.
