About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and Django to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with payment/fintech companies and be passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python/Django.

- Work on integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, and financial services.

- Ensure system security, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.

- Prior experience in payment/fintech domain (mandatory).

- Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).

- Knowledge of payment systems, PCI compliance, security protocols, and transaction workflows.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Understanding of data security, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance in fintech.
