Job Title : Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in building scalable and secure backend services in the Insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript and in AWS.

- Work with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB, to build high-throughput, low-latency systems.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Optimize system performance and scalability across high load platforms.

- Ensure robust security, compliance, and fault-tolerance in all backend implementations.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications :

- 6 to 8 years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on scalable systems.

- Proficiency in Node.js, with experience in either JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Good in AWS serverless architecture, Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.

- Background in fintech, payment systems, or other high-security, high-availability industries.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with event-driven architectures or messaging systems.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
