Backend Developer - Node.js/Python

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and Python to design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should be experienced in building scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-backed applications.

You will collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams to build robust, enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python & Node.js.

- Convert business requirements into scalable, maintainable backend solutions.

- Write clean, reusable, optimized code following best practices and coding standards.

- Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and backend components.

- Develop data processing pipelines, automation scripts, and performance enhancements.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and version control using Git & CI/CD pipelines.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 3 to 6 years of strong backend development experience.

- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks : Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

- Good understanding of Node.js and modern backend practices.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OOP concepts, and microservices architecture.

- Experience with databases : PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and ORM tools.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.

- Bonus : Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or AI/ML workflows.
