Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that power our core insurance platforms.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex insurance requirements into scalable technical solutions. By building robust services and ensuring seamless data integration, you will directly influence the efficiency of our policy management and claims processing systems, ultimately enhancing the digital experience for our end customers and driving operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable microservices using .NET to ensure high availability and modularity for our insurance product suite.

- Develop and optimize complex data access layers using Entity Framework to improve system performance and data integrity for critical business transactions.

- Design and document secure RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between internal services and external partner platforms.

- Partner with stakeholders to refine business logic and translate insurance domain requirements into efficient, maintainable code.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold high engineering standards and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade applications using .NET and Entity Framework, with a deep understanding of object-oriented design patterns.

- Proven ability to design and deploy microservices architectures that handle high-volume traffic in a distributed environment.

- Strong proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs, ensuring they are secure, well-documented, and performant.

- Deep functional knowledge of the insurance domain, including policy lifecycles, underwriting workflows, or claims processing systems.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a hybrid or distributed team environment.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
