Backend Developer - NestJS/Node.js

Responsibilities :

- Lead the backend architecture using NestJS / Node.js and TypeScript.

- Design distributed systems and data models for high-scale products.

- Define code standards, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Integrate advanced tooling : Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, etc.

- Own database architecture and data integrity (PostgreSQL + Prisma).

- Oversee API gateway, authentication systems, RBAC, and monitoring.

- Collaborate with frontend (Next.js) and DevOps teams for seamless releases.

- Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and lead sprints.

- Analyze and improve system performance, cost efficiency, and security.

- Contribute to technical documentation and product strategy.

Required Skills :

- Mastery of Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and Prisma ORM.

- Expert-level PostgreSQL and MongoDB optimization.

- Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, caching, and queues.

- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.

- Experience managing large-scale production systems with observability tools.

- Proven experience in product-based environments (uptime, scalability, and releases).

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Strapi plugin development or custom headless CMS setups.

- Strong system design and mentoring capabilities.

- Experience leading a team of 38 developers.

- Understanding of GraphQL Federation, API Gateway, or gRPC
