Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microservices, and cloud-native technologies.

You will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The role involves working with cross-functional product and engineering teams throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems.

- Build high-quality solutions using Java and Spring.

- Work with cross-functional product and engineering teams to solve complex customer and business problems.

- Participate in all phases of software engineering, including design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.

- Follow clean code principles and engineering best practices.

- Design and develop applications with a strong focus on security, quality, and performance.

- Work on microservices architecture and break down large applications into manageable services.

- Collaborate with engineers across different infrastructure layers to design and launch new features.

- Interact with clients to understand requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.

- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Must-Have Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java

- 7+ years of experience with Spring

- 7+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Knowledge/experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

- Experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra

- Strong understanding of application security

- Experience designing and developing scalable backend applications

- Strong problem-solving skills and experience handling complex technical/business problems

- Good communication skills with fluency in English

Good to Have :

- Experience with Datadog

- Passion for automation, continuous learning, and adopting new technologies.
