About the job :

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with solid experience in developing enterprise-grade applications using Java (Spring Framework), Python, or Node.js. The candidate should have hands-on experience in AI integration, containerized deployments, and cloud-based environments, along with a deep understanding of design principles, patterns, and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for enterprise applications.

- Implement solutions using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and/or Node.js frameworks.

- Integrate AI capabilities within applications and utilize AI-driven tools during development and testing.

- Architect, build, and maintain microservices-based systems using modern design and coding standards.

- Work closely with front-end, DevOps, and data teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural and coding best practices.

- Deploy, monitor, and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

Required Qualifications :

- 6+ years of professional experience in backend development for enterprise-level applications.

- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Framework), Python, or Node.js.

- Demonstrated experience in integrating AI/ML components into applications.

- Proven track record of working on commercial, large-scale enterprise projects.

- Sound understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean coding standards.

- Experience deploying applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.

- Proficient in RESTful API design, database management, and system integrations.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to effectively multitask across multiple concurrent projects.

- Hands-on experience with Agile-based development methodologies.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Problem-solving mindset with an analytical approach to challenges.

Added Advantage :

- Working knowledge of messaging bus systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.

- Experience with Elastic data technologies, observability, and monitoring patterns (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
