We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, and both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). This role is crucial for designing and developing highly scalable and reliable backend services. You will be responsible for building robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend systems, and maintaining optimal application performance and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Backend Service Development : Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services using Java. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

- API Development : Build and maintain robust APIs to facilitate communication between the backend and frontend systems.

- Database Management : Work with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to define, design, and implement new features, ensuring a cohesive and functional user experience.

- Performance & Quality Assurance : Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This includes identifying and resolving bottlenecks, fixing bugs, and implementing best practices for code quality and security.

- Full-stack Awareness : Utilize proficiency in Python to assist with scripting, automation, or other backend tasks as needed, demonstrating a polyglot approach to problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 9 years of hands-on professional experience as a Java Backend Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Java and a good knowledge of its ecosystems and frameworks.

- Experience with Python.

- Expertise in working with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

- Hands-on experience with designing and developing APIs.
