Backend Developer - Java

Description :

We are hiring a Software Development Engineer II (SDE-2) to build scalable Search & Recommendation systems for a high-traffic OTT platform.

Responsibilities :

- Build and scale backend services in Java (Spring Boot)

- Develop low-latency APIs for Search, Ranking, and Personalization

- Work with Solr, databases, and distributed systems

- Optimize for performance, scalability, and reliability

- Collaborate with ML/Data teams on recommendation models

Requirements :

- Strong Java backend experience (mandatory)

- Solid knowledge of DSA, OOP, Microservices

- Experience with Search systems, SQL/NoSQL, Redis

- Node.js experience (preferred)

- Exposure to Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud is a plus
