Backend Developer - Java

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, as well as a good understanding of databases like MySQL and MongoDB.

The candidate should also have knowledge of Linux systems, deployment, AWS, and microservices architecture.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems of our applications while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

You should be able to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality and timely solutions.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5-8 years of experience in backend development.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain the backend systems of our applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the backend systems by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of the codebase.

- Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.

- Deploy the backend systems to Linux servers and configure them for optimal performance and security.

- Implement microservice architecture and design APIs for communication between services.

- Monitor and maintain the backend systems in production, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development, and apply them to the project when necessary.

- Write and maintain documentation related to the project, such as technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes.

Requirements :

- At least 5-8 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.

- Strong knowledge of database systems, including MySQL and MongoDB, and ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.

- Familiarity with Linux systems and experience with deployment and maintenance of backend systems on Linux servers.

- Experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and experience with designing and implementing APIs for communication between services.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
