Backend Developer - Golang/Node.js

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable, resilient, and high-performance back-end systems using Go and Node.js

- Develop infrastructure capable of handling millions of transactions per second

- Implement and optimise distributed systems for real-time, concurrent workloads

- Work with Kafka or NATS to develop event-driven services and pipelines

- Manage containerised microservices on Kubernetes

- Leverage PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, and RocksDB for data storage across use cases (relational, NoSQL, caching, time-series, key-value)

- Integrate with object storage systems like S3 or MinIO

- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with a focus on performance and correctness

- Apply strong knowledge of network protocols, data structures, and algorithms

- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Front-End, and Product teams to build real-time platforms

- Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvements

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on systems engineering

- Advanced proficiency in Golang and Node.js

- Proven track record of building or maintaining distributed systems and high-throughput infrastructure

- Strong command of PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, and RocksDB

- Production experience with Kafka, NATS, or other event-driven architectures

- Deep understanding of concurrent programming, networking, and low-latency design patterns

- Experience deploying and scaling services using Kubernetes

- Hands-on experience with object storage (S3, MinIO, etc.)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms
