Key responsibilities :

- Develop core logic : Write code for essential functions like user authentication, product catalog management, and order processing.

- Manage data : Design and maintain databases to store and manage crucial information like user details, product inventory, and order history.

- Integrate third-party services : Connect the e-commerce platform to external services, such as payment gateways and shipping providers, using APIs.

- Ensure security and performance : Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and optimize the system for speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and debug : Identify and fix bugs and production issues to ensure the platform runs smoothly.

Core skills and knowledge :

- Programming languages and frameworks : Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, or PHP, and experience with back-end frameworks.

- Database management : Experience with databases like SQL or NoSQL for data storage and retrieval.

- API design : Ability to design, build, and integrate APIs for seamless communication between different parts of the system.

- Version control : Using tools like Git for managing code and collaborating with other developers.

- Cloud and containerization : Knowledge of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (like Docker) is often required for scalable applications
