Description : We are hiring a Node.jsheavy Backend Architect for a high-impact international project. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep backend engineering expertise along with exposure to GenAI-driven development and modern AI-assisted (vibe coding) tools. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing systems and still loves to code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and develop scalable backend platforms using Node.js

- Remain hands-on with backend development, code reviews, and design discussions

- Define backend architecture including APIs, services, integrations, and data flows

- Build and maintain high-performance microservices and backend systems

- Integrate GenAI / LLM-based capabilities into backend services

- Use AI-assisted / vibe coding tools to accelerate development and improve productivity

- Ensure best practices around performance, scalability, security, and reliability

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

- Mentor developers and guide technical decisions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 to 12 years of backend development experience

- Strong, hands-on expertise in Node.js (mandatory)

- Experience working as a Backend Architect / Tech Lead

- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems

- Experience designing and building REST APIs / GraphQL APIs

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

- Working knowledge of GenAI concepts, LLM integrations, or AI-enabled backend systems

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools / vibe coding workflows

- Knowledge of security, authentication, and authorization best practices

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerization

Good to Have :

- Experience working on international or Gulf-region projects

- Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

- Experience with serverless or cloud-native architectures

- Prior experience in mentoring or scaling backend teams
