As a Backend Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our backend systems and driving architectural excellence across teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and evolve backend architecture for highly scalable, distributed systems

- Define best practices for microservices, API design, and data modeling

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product vision

- Lead technical reviews, identify bottlenecks, and propose robust solutions

- Drive adoption of modern engineering principles including CI/CD, containerization, and observability

- Mentor senior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to future-proof the platform

Technical Expertise :

- Proven experience architecting large-scale backend systems (8+ years)

- Deep proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design

- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture,Kafka, and asynchronous processing

- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP)

- Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, and service mesh technologies is a plus

- Solid grasp of system design, scalability, performance optimization, and security
