Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Azure Technology Recovery Architect to assess Azure environments, identify recovery risks and dependencies, and develop technical recovery strategies and runbooks. The role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure Azure environments are resilient and recovery-ready.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assess Azure environments to determine recovery readiness, technical dependencies, and recovery requirements.

- Review existing infrastructure to identify resilience gaps, recovery risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Develop and maintain detailed Technical Recovery Runbooks using approved templates and standards.

- Document recovery procedures, recovery sequences, validation steps, technical dependencies, and service dependencies.

- Ensure recovery strategies and runbooks are aligned with agreed RPO/RTO objectives.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to validate recovery approaches.

- Recommend improvements to enhance resilience, simplify recovery processes, and accelerate restoration times.

- Support recovery testing, disaster recovery exercises, simulations, and runbook validation activities.

- Continuously improve recovery documentation standards, templates, processes, and governance frameworks.

- Drive adoption of automation and cloud best practices to simplify and expedite technical recovery.

- Identify opportunities to improve overall Azure workload resilience and recovery readiness.

- Strong collaboration skills with infrastructure, application, security, and cloud teams.

- Candidates with immediate or short notice periods are preferred.
