Role : Azure SRE Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Azure SRE Engineer to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, Git, and Jenkins, along with excellent production troubleshooting and incident-management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Troubleshoot and isolate issues between the application layer and Azure Cloud Platform.

- Analyze application and infrastructure error codes, logs, alerts, and incidents to identify root causes.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including clusters, nodes, pods, deployments, and services.

- Identify and resolve Kubernetes-related production issues and performance problems.

- Troubleshoot Terraform/IaC issues, including incorrect parameters, configurations, and resource provisioning.

- Validate and troubleshoot CI/CD deployment issues using Git and Jenkins.

- Support application deployments and investigate failed or inconsistent deployments.

- Collaborate with application, DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure teams to resolve production incidents.

- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Contribute to improving system reliability, availability, monitoring, and operational processes.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in Azure Cloud

- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes

- Good knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

- Experience with Git and Jenkins

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

- Experience in production support / SRE / cloud operations

- Ability to analyze logs, error codes, alerts, and deployment failures

- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have :

- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights

- Azure DevOps

- Scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools

- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management

- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments
