Job Description

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Services (AIS) Developer / Lead to design, build, and support enterprise-grade integration solutions on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will architect and implement seamless, secure data flow across cloud and on-premises systems using modern Azure integration components.

You will leverage event-driven architectures, APIs, ETL workflows, and infrastructure-as-code to drive seamless system connectivity, operational efficiency, and task automation.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud integration workflows using Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Blob Storage, and Azure Service Bus.

- Implement robust data mapping, exception handling, error logging, and retry strategies across complex asynchronous and synchronous pipelines.

- Architect and implement scalable queue-based, event-driven, and message-oriented architectures as well as enterprise ETL/ELT data processes.

- Write production-ready, highly maintainable serverless code in C# and .NET, primarily for Azure Functions and custom API extensions.

- Design, secure, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs using industry-standard authentication and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, API Keys, Managed Identities).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Azure CLI, Bicep, and ARM templates.

- Utilize Git and version control platforms (Azure DevOps / GitHub) for source code management.

- Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD build and release pipelines for automated, reliable code deployment.

- Focus on operational efficiency by automating manual delivery tasks, reducing technical debt/toil, and leveraging modern AI-assisted tools for automated code generation and deployment.

- Work actively within an Agile (Scrum / Kanban) software development lifecycle.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce design best practices, and ensure adherence to enterprise security standards.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, solutions architects, business analysts, and external partners to gather integration requirements.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide tier-3 technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Core Azure Stack : Proven expertise with Azure Integration Services (APIM, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Event Grid/Hubs, Blob Storage).

- Development & Frameworks : Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented programming.

- API & Security Protocols : Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, OAuth 2.0, mTLS, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) authentication.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Hands-on practice using Bicep, ARM templates, and Azure CLI for automated cloud infrastructure setup.

- Data Integration : Expertise in data transformations, schema mapping (JSON, XML, CSV), message queuing, publish-subscribe patterns, and ETL/ELT pipeline design.

- CI/CD & Source Control : Deep familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD concepts (Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions).

- Agile & Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills combined with clear written and verbal communication in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience using AI-driven development/automation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-driven deployment automation) for task automation and toil reduction.

- Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure or AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect).

- Understanding of enterprise hybrid cloud network concepts (VNets, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute).
