Azure DevOps Lead (CI/CD, IaC & Kubernetes)

Experience : 6 - 9 Years

Location : Chennai (Work from Office)

Working Days : 5 Days a Week

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Preferred

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Automate build, testing, release, and rollback processes with integrated quality gates.

- Implement Git best practices including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

- Manage secrets, configurations, and secure deployments using Azure Key Vault or HashiCorp Vault.

- Monitor and improve application reliability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Optimize Azure infrastructure for performance, security, governance, and cost efficiency.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

- Mentor development teams on DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git workflows, and cloud-native architecture.

- Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, reusable pipeline templates, and operational playbooks.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in cloud-native application delivery with at least 3 years of recent hands-on Azure experience.

- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts).

- Hands-on experience designing CI/CD pipelines using YAML.

- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform (ARM Templates/Bicep is an advantage).

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Solid understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.

- Experience with Azure Key Vault or HashiCorp Vault.

- Good understanding of Azure networking, Azure AD, identity management, and cloud security.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and incident management skills.

- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Candidates must have experience working in B2B IT Services or IT Consulting organizations.

Preferred Skills :

- Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104, or AZ-305.

- Terraform Associate Certification.

- Experience with Azure governance, cost optimization, monitoring, observability, and reusable DevOps frameworks.
