About the Role :

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Azure DevOps Engineer to support the development and maintenance of modern cloud infrastructure and automated deployment solutions. The ideal candidate will have practical experience working with Microsoft Azure, DevOps practices, and CI/CD automation while contributing to the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-based applications.

In this role, you will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and cloud administrators to improve deployment efficiency, automate operational tasks, and ensure smooth application delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Build, configure, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Develop automation solutions to simplify application deployment, release management, and infrastructure provisioning.

- Deploy and administer Azure cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Manage cloud services including Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking components, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Continuously monitor cloud environments and applications to ensure optimal availability, performance, and reliability.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment failures, infrastructure issues, and production incidents in a timely manner.

- Implement cloud security standards, access management policies, and governance controls to maintain a secure Azure environment.

- Work collaboratively with development, testing, and operations teams to enhance release quality and accelerate delivery timelines.

- Recommend improvements for cloud infrastructure to increase scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational guidelines, and infrastructure configurations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 24 years of professional experience in Azure DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related DevOps roles.

- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and administration.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps.

- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Proficiency with Git repositories and version control workflows.

- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), for container orchestration.

- Experience with Azure monitoring and diagnostic services such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud security principles, and Azure governance.

- Exposure to Agile development methodologies and collaborative project environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with additional DevOps tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of configuration management platforms like Ansible.

- Familiarity with code quality and artifact management tools including SonarQube, Nexus Repository, or Artifactory.

- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.

- Basic understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud compliance frameworks.

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
