Azure DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless software delivery and infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services.

- Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure provisioning processes.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across environments.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline release management and deployment strategies.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based applications.

- Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.

- Implement DevSecOps best practices, including security controls and compliance standards.

- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and release management.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

- Familiarity with Git-based version control systems and branching strategies.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, or Prometheus.

- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or equivalent).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to multi-cloud environments is an added advantage.

Education :

- UG : B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
