Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes for enterprise applications.

- Provision and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep).

- Configure and administer Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Networking, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Implement DevSecOps best practices, integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Manage source code repositories using Git and Azure Repos.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline release management.

- Implement automated testing, deployment strategies, and rollback mechanisms.

- Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.

- Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure-related incidents.

- Support production environments through Incident Management, Change Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

- Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

- Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and cloud best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.

- Expertise in Azure DevOps Services.

- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

1. Terraform

2. ARM Templates

3. Bicep

- Version control using Git and Azure Repos.

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Docker containerization.

- Azure App Services.

- Azure Virtual Machines.

- Azure Storage Accounts.

- Azure Virtual Network (VNet), Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).

- Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificate management.

- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID) integration and RBAC.

- PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for automation.

- YAML pipeline development.

- Release management and deployment automation.

Good to Have:

- Azure Functions and Logic Apps.

- Azure Container Registry (ACR).

- Azure API Management (APIM).

- Helm Charts.

- Kubernetes administration.

- SonarQube integration.

- Nexus or Artifactory repository management.

- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Ansible automation.

- Linux system administration.

- DevSecOps tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Snyk, Checkmarx, or Trivy.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Microsoft Azure certifications such as:

1. Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

2. Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)

3. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

- Experience working with enterprise cloud migration or modernization projects.
