About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, configuring, deploying, and supporting applications across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments. This role requires expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), server administration, and deployment automation.

The successful candidate will work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application deployments while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Application & Infrastructure Configuration :

- Configure and manage application hosting environments across Microsoft Azure and on-premises Windows Server infrastructure.

- Administer and maintain IIS (Internet Information Services) for web application hosting.

- Configure, monitor, and support middleware components such as RabbitMQ and centralized logging platforms like Seq.

- Ensure application environments are secure, highly available, and optimized for performance.

- Perform environment configurations, application deployments, and post-deployment validations.

CI/CD & DevOps Automation :

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML-based configurations.

- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep templates.

- Develop and maintain reusable PowerShell scripts to automate infrastructure and operational tasks.

- Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.

- Support release management activities and deployment planning.

Monitoring, Support & Troubleshooting :

- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Azure Application Insights and other observability tools.

- Monitor infrastructure and application health, analyze alerts, and perform incident response activities.

- Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, and runtime issues across hybrid environments.

- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.

- Collaborate with development teams to resolve production and non-production environment issues.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth release execution.

- Participate in deployment planning, change management, and environment readiness activities.

- Provide technical guidance and best practices related to automation, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), System Administration, or Infrastructure Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Virtual Networks, Storage Services, and Identity & Access Management (Azure AD).

- Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using YAML.

- Strong scripting expertise in PowerShell.

- Hands-on experience in configuring and managing IIS.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Bicep.

- Working knowledge of RabbitMQ, Seq, or similar middleware and centralized logging solutions.

- Experience with Azure Application Insights or similar monitoring/APM tools.

- Understanding of Windows Server administration and application hosting environments.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
