Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Axway Application Administration Specialist to support, configure, and maintain Axway-managed file transfer and partner onboarding activities. The role will be responsible for managing/ setting up trading partners, configuring application deliveries and pickups, managing communities, and maintaining secure communication protocols and certificates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and administer Axway MFT (Axway Transfer CFT, SecureTransport, Sentinel, and/or B2Bi) in production and non-production environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure file transfer workflows (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, PGP, etc.) between internal systems and external trading partners.
- Monitor daily file transfer jobs, proactively identify failures, and perform root cause analysis for transfer issues.
- Manage user accounts, certificates, encryption keys, and access controls to ensure secure data exchange.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and version migrations of Axway components.
- Configure and maintain partner profiles, routing rules, and flow definitions.
- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to onboard new trading partners and integrate MFT with enterprise systems (ERP, EDI, etc.).
- Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, configuration guides, and runbooks.
- Support incident management, change management, and problem management processes (ITIL framework).
- Ensure compliance with data security, audit, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, GDPR as applicable).
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and high-availability/DR configuration for MFT infrastructure.
- Provide L2/L3 support and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Requirements :
- Experience in configuring certificates for both external partners and internal organization setups.
- Good understanding of secure file transfer concepts, communication protocols, and partner connectivity.
- Ability to analyze logs, identify root causes, and resolve integration issues efficiently.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
