Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Platform Engineer with 4 to 7 years of hands-on expertise in building and operating secure, scalable platforms across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will not only manage infrastructure but also design, develop, and automate the management of cloud resources that powers our AI/ML, Data Engineering, and Digital teams. You will focus on high-quality code, automation, and operational stability in a hybrid multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain core multi-cloud foundations on Azure and GCP, ensuring platforms are engineered for scalability, resilience, security, and cost efficiency

- Engineer Responsible for building the Infrastructure & deployment to take Gen - AI PoC to production systems.

- Provide necessary support to infrastructure, Network, & Integration for the AI Applications

- Establish standardized cloud environments, including landing zones, shared services, and secure network topologies.

- Provision and configure core GCP services including Vertex AI, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, and Cloud Workflows to support high-performance and data-intensive workloads.

- Implement and operate a comprehensive observability and operational tool suite for end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and incident response

- Enable the Azure services like Azure Fabric,Power BI, AI Foundry and various access patterns to the users.

- Execute FinOps practices by monitoring utilization, implementing automated rightsizing, and managing commitment-based discounts (RIs and CUDs) to maintain cost governance

- Perform proactive performance tuning using native optimization tools such as GCP Recommender and Azure Advisor to identify and remediate resource inefficiencies

- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, ensuring all cloud resources are version-controlled, repeatable, traceable, and auditable

- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker, embedding security checks, approvals, and change controls into deployment workflows

- Manage Kubernetes platforms (GKE and AKS), including cluster lifecycle management, scaling, access control, and operational support for containerized workloads

- Configure and enforce identity, access, and security models using GCP IAM and Azure AD (Entra ID), ensuring least-privilege access and adherence to defined governance guardrails

- Implement proactive monitoring, synthetic testing, and service health checks to ensure platform stability and operational readiness

- Collaborate closely with AI/ML, Data, and Digital teams to reduce platform friction, standardize workflows, and promote cloud best practices

- Investigate and resolve platform-level incidents, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent corrective actions

- Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and control evidence, while mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering excellence

Required Skills :

- 4 to 7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud DevOps, or SRE roles, with strong hands-on exposure to GCP and solid experience in Microsoft Azure

- Deep technical knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud Scheduler, and Vertex AI

- Advanced proficiency in Terraform for multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code, with strong emphasis on modular design and version control

- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration, managing production-grade Kubernetes environments (GKE and AKS)

- Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools

- Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash to build automation, integrations, and operational tooling

- Hands-on experience with observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native monitoring solutions (GCP Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor)

- Practical experience with cloud cost management, including monitoring, rightsizing, and optimization of commitment-based pricing models

- Solid understanding of identity, access management, and security governance, with experience enforcing least-privilege access and platform guardrails

- Strong troubleshooting capabilities, including RCA and resolution of complex multi-cloud platform issues

Preferred Qualifications :

- Cloud certifications such as GCP Associate or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect / Administrator have advantages.

- Exposure to AI/ML platform operations, including Vertex AI or MLOps workflows,Azure AI Foundry,

- Any Certification on Agentic AI,GKE etc

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and operational artefacts

Educations :

- Preferable an BE/BTECH, MCA/MS, BS with IT from a recognized institute
