Role Summary :

The Business Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing business data across systems (SAP and other applications), identifying issues, performing simulations, and generating actionable insights to support business and leadership decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze data across systems (SAP, CRM, digital platforms)

- Identify data inconsistencies, transaction errors, and process gaps

- Perform root cause analysis for business issues

- Conduct simulations and what-if analysis (pricing, cost, inventory, sales)

- Handle ad-hoc analysis requests from leadership

- Build dashboards using BI tools (QlikSense / Power BI)

- Collaborate with SAP, BI, and business teams

- Support data quality and governance initiatives

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong SQL skills

- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, analysis)

- Experience with BI tools (QlikSense)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Basic understanding of business processes (sales, procurement, inventory, finance)

- Good communication and presentation skills

Preferred :

- Exposure to SAP data and reporting

- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain domain

- Experience handling ad-hoc business queries

- Basic knowledge of Python (optional)
