Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect. In this role you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that align with business and technology goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of cloud-native and hybrid solutions on AWS.

- Evaluate and migrate on-prem workloads to AWS using tools like AWS Migration Hub, or Snowball.

- Design and implement high availability, disaster recovery, and cost-optimized infrastructure.

- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM), security groups, encryption, and monitoring (CloudTrail, GuardDuty).

- Define infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.

- Guide DevOps and CI/CD integration using CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Drive cloud best practices including well-architected framework reviews, tagging policies, and FinOps governance.

- Lead technical workshops, customer demos, and architecture whiteboarding sessions.

- Work with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy workloads into containerized or serverless applications (e.g., EKS, Fargate, Lambda).

- Stay current on AWS services, marketplace tools, and competitive cloud trends.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years on AWS

- Strong understanding of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS

- Expertise in network design, security architecture, and identity management

- Hands-on experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

- Experience with DevOps pipelines, GitOps, and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with application modernization, microservices, and cloud-native design patterns

- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP) is a plus

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional (strongly preferred)

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategy

- Exposure to AI/ML workloads, data lakes, or edge computing on AWS

- Experience with ServiceNow, observability (Datadog, Dynatrace), or FinOps platforms
