- Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS.
- Own the end-to-end architecture of cloud applications, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Translate business and technical requirements into AWS cloud architecture and solution designs.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.
- Work closely with application development, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Establish and enforce AWS architecture best practices, security standards, governance, and operational guidelines.
- Design solutions using services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and other AWS services.
- Implement and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.
- Design and implement high-availability, backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Identify technical risks and dependencies and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- 8 - 10 years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in cloud architecture and AWS.
- Strong experience designing and implementing production-grade AWS solutions.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional are preferred.
- Strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, routing, NAT, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, load balancers, and Route 53.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, security groups, WAF, encryption, logging, and compliance.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS and modern container-based architectures.
- Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong understanding of databases, including relational and NoSQL technologies such as RDS/Aurora, PostgreSQL/MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Experience designing microservices, serverless, event-driven, and API-based architectures.
- Understanding of observability and monitoring using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and third-party monitoring platforms.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, performance tuning, and FinOps principles.
