AWS Solution Architect / Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly capable AWS Solution Architect to join our cloud consulting and delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS.

This role is suitable for professionals coming from cloud architecture, DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, infrastructure automation, cloud migration, and cloud consulting backgrounds, as long as they have strong hands-on AWS expertise and can translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement AWS-based cloud infrastructure for enterprise and mid-sized clients.

- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures.
Job Description :

- Lead or support cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.

- Build and review Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

- Architect and support containerized and cloud-native environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.

- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.

- Define best practices for reliability, security, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.

- Work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and client stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.

- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues when required.

- Create architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and technical documentation.

- Mentor junior engineers and guide delivery teams on cloud and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud architecture and implementation.

- Good understanding of core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and networking/security services.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.

- Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and cloud security fundamentals.

- Experience in production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Ability to work independently and also collaborate across technical and business teams.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.

- Experience with multi-account AWS environments, governance, and landing zone concepts.

- Exposure to DevSecOps, monitoring/observability tools, and automation scripting.

- Experience in managed services, consulting, or client-facing delivery environments.

- Exposure to Azure or GCP is a plus, but AWS should be the primary strength.

- Familiarity with Well-Architected Framework and cloud cost optimization.

Qualifications:

- 8 to 12+ years of overall IT experience, depending on role level.

- At least 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.

- AWS certification such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional mandatory.

- Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, or security certifications are an added advantage.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.

Location / Work Mode:

Multiple roles across CHennai, Mumbai, as well as remote within in India.

Work mode can be aligned based on project or business requirement.
