AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS services, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon EKS, Terraform, and Docker to build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Develop and manage serverless applications and workflows using AWS Lambda.

- Build, configure, and maintain data integration and ETL workflows using AWS Glue.

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, deployments, and releases.

- Monitor application performance, system health, and infrastructure availability using AWS monitoring and logging services.

- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, network security, secrets management, and access controls.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

- Troubleshoot deployment issues, production incidents, and infrastructure-related problems.

- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and operations teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.

- Maintain technical documentation and follow DevOps standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

- 7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related engineering roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda and AWS Glue.

- Practical experience deploying and managing applications on Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).

- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.

- Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, and logging.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
