About the Role:
We are looking for a talented AWS Connect Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS serverless technologies.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, along with strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
You will be responsible for building intelligent customer engagement solutions, integrating enterprise applications with Amazon Connect, and developing scalable APIs and backend services to support omnichannel customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Amazon Connect Development:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Amazon Connect contact center solutions.
- Create and manage Contact Flows, Queues, Routing Profiles, Hours of Operation, and Agent configurations.
- Customize IVR workflows to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Configure intelligent call routing, queue management, and customer interaction workflows.
- Optimize contact center performance, scalability, and reliability.
Conversational AI Development:
- Develop conversational bots using Amazon Lex.
- Design intents, utterances, slots, prompts, and conversation flows.
- Integrate Lex bots with Amazon Connect to automate customer interactions.
- Enhance chatbot accuracy and user experience through continuous optimization.
AWS Serverless Development:
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Build Lambda functions in Python and Java to automate backend processes.
- Integrate Lambda with Amazon Connect, API Gateway, S3, and enterprise systems.
- Optimize serverless applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
API Development & Integration:
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
- Build secure backend services to integrate Amazon Connect with enterprise applications.
- Develop API integrations using AWS API Gateway.
- Implement authentication, authorization, logging, and error handling for APIs.
Cloud Storage & Data Processing:
- Utilize Amazon S3 for secure storage and retrieval of customer interaction data, recordings, and documents.
- Build workflows for processing files, transcripts, and interaction logs.
- Support data ingestion and integration with downstream applications.
Application Development:
- Develop scalable backend applications using Spring Boot and Python.
- Build microservices to support customer engagement platforms.
- Implement reusable and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Monitoring & Support:
- Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for IVR, chatbot, API, and Lambda failures.
- Optimize application performance and improve system reliability.
- Support production deployments and post-release monitoring.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery:
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in software development with strong exposure to AWS cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience implementing Amazon Connect solutions in enterprise environments.

Integration Skills:

- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Experience working with databases and backend services.
