AWS Cloud Platform Architect

CI/CD & IAC :

- Advanced expertise in Terraform including module design, state management, and Terraform Cloud/Enterprise.

- Deep experience with GitHub Actions including custom actions, reusable workflows, and OIDC integration.

- Strong software engineering skills for building CLIs, APIs, and developer tools.

- Experience with GitOps tools and practices (ArgoCD, Flux, or similar).

- Knowledge of software supply chain security (SLSA, dependency scanning, artifact signing).

- Experience with infrastructure testing frameworks (Terratest, Kitchen-Terraform).

FinOps :

- Experience with AWS Cost Management tools (Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost and Usage Reports).

- Proficiency with FinOps tools (CloudHealth, Cloudability, or similar).

- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools.

- Knowledge of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot Instance strategies.

- FinOps Certified Practitioner certification preferred.

- Experience building cost optimization automation and reporting pipelines

DevOps :

- Deep experience with EKS including managed node groups, Fargate, and add-ons management.

- Hands-on expertise with Istio service mesh including traffic management and security policies.

- Proficiency with ArgoCD including ApplicationSets, sync strategies, and RBAC configuration.

- Experience with Karpenter for intelligent workload provisioning and cost optimization.

- Knowledge of container security best practices and tools (Falco, OPA, admission controllers).

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification preferred.

Monitoring & Observability :

- Experience with open-source observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK).

- Strong understanding of distributed tracing, metrics aggregation, and log analysis at scale.

- Experience implementing SRE practices including SLOs, error budgets, and reliability reporting.

- Proficiency in query languages (PromQL, KQL, CloudWatch Insights).

- Experience with APM tools and distributed system debugging.

Networking & Security :

- Strong understanding of network security principles and zero-trust architectures.

- Experience with AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, Macie).

- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and their implementation in AWS.

- Experience with security automation tools and practices (SIEM integration, automated remediation).

- AWS Security Specialty certification preferred.
