AWS Cloud Architect

Description :

AWS Environment Provisioning :

- Design and build AWS multi-account environments (Control Tower, Organizations).

- Configure networking: VPCs, Transit Gateways, Subnets, Firewalls, and Private Endpoints.

- Provision and manage AWS databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).

- Manage IAM roles, access controls, and security policies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

- Automate provisioning and configuration processes for repeatability and scale.

Security & Compliance :

- Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM governance, encryption, compliance).

- Use AWS Config, GuardDuty, and Security Hub to ensure continuous compliance.

Automation & CI/CD :

- Build automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Integrate infrastructure deployments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).

Monitoring & Optimization :

- Implement and manage monitoring systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Optimize costs and performance across AWS environments.

Mandatory Criteria (Shortlisting will depend on these) :

- Created 200+ AWS accounts from scratch using Control Tower or AWS services.

- Minimum 7+ years hands-on experience with AWS provisioning.

- Strong expertise in :

1. AWS multi-account setup (Control Tower/Organizations)

2. VPC design and networking (Transit Gateway, routing, endpoints, firewalls)

3. IAM and security hardening

4. Database provisioning (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)

- Proficient in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).

- Experience integrating AWS with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Certifications :

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional

- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
