About This Opportunity :

This role is for one of our client's biggest GCC accounts (RSC India), which we are scaling in Pune. Our mission is to hire 1,000+ people for this account over the next phase.

You will be part of the founding team for this GCC and play a critical role in designing and building AWS cloud infrastructure at enterprise scale. The client is the second-largest healthcare company in the USA (Fortune 50), offering a rare opportunity to work on high-impact, enterprise-grade AWS environments in the healthcare domain.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect with extensive cloud engineering experience in designing and implementing AWS environments from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have worked on enterprise-scale AWS projects, bringing deep expertise in multi-account setups, networking, security, and databases.

This role requires a builder mindset : someone who has not only consumed AWS services but has architected and delivered complex solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

AWS Environment Provisioning :

- Architect and provision multi-account AWS environments (Control Tower, Organizations).

- Design and implement secure networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Private Endpoints, Subnets, Routing, Firewalls).

- Provision and manage highly available AWS database platforms (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).

- Oversee the entire AWS account lifecycle, including IAM roles, policies, and access governance.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation.

- Automate account provisioning, networking, and security setup.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement enterprise-grade AWS security best practices (IAM governance, encryption, compliance automation).

- Leverage AWS Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Vault for proactive security.

Automation & CI/CD :

- Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for cloud operations.

- Integrate AWS infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

Monitoring & Optimization :

- Deploy monitoring frameworks (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Continuously optimize cost, scalability, and performance of AWS workloads.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of cloud engineering experience, with 7+ years in AWS.

- Proven experience in enterprise-scale AWS implementations and similar past projects.

- Deep expertise in :

- Multi-account AWS setup (Control Tower/Organizations)

- VPC design and networking (Transit Gateway, Private Endpoints, routing, firewalls)

- IAM policies, role-based access control, and security hardening

- Database provisioning (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation.

- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Experience integrating AWS with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions at scale.

Preferred Certifications (Key Requirement) :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (must-have).

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

- HashiCorp Certified : Terraform Associate.

Work Schedule :

- First 3 months : 4 :30 PM IST - 1 :30 AM IST (Remote; working with US team).

- Post ramp-up : Option to move to standard India hours (5 days onsite)
