About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Parameterization Specialist to join our Application Management Channels Services Team. This role requires deep technical expertise in Avaloq development, parameterization, and solution design, with a strong focus on delivering robust, high-quality solutions in the banking and wealth management domain.

You will play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration of Avaloq with digital banking channels.

Key Responsibilities :

Avaloq Parameterization & Development :

- Perform end-to-end Avaloq parameterization and custom software development.

- Design, implement, and test software changes with a strong focus on quality and performance.

Business Requirement Translation :

- Partner with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and refine requirements.

- Translate functional needs into efficient technical solutions using Avaloq Parametrization, Unix, and Shell scripting.

Integration & Interfaces :

- Develop and maintain interfaces between Avaloq and digital channels (e.g., online banking, online investment applications).

- Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient system integrations.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams across business and IT.

- Deliver high-quality solutions on time, aligned with wealth management and investment banking standards.

Skills & Competencies :

- Strong hands-on expertise in Avaloq parameterization (5+ years).

- Proficiency in Oracle database technologies & PL/SQL.

- Advanced knowledge of Unix, Shell scripting, and system integrations.

- Requirements engineering and solution design expertise.

- Strong analytical, structured, and independent problem-solving approach.

- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written).

Experience & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of Avaloq development experience (ACP certification is a plus).

- 8+ years overall in software engineering / development.

- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.

- Solid understanding of Wealth Management / Investment Banking products & processes.
