About the Role :

We are looking for talented Automation QA professionals with strong expertise in Selenium and Java to join our growing Quality Engineering team. Depending on experience and skillset, candidates will be considered for either an individual contributor role or a lead position responsible for driving automation strategy and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.

- Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.

- Validate application data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering best practices.

- Maintain test plans, test cases, defect reports, and automation documentation.

- For senior candidates, lead automation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and contribute to automation roadmap planning.

Required Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- 5 to 9 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Experience with API Testing using Rest Assured and/or Postman.

- Strong SQL and database testing skills.

- Experience with Git and version control systems.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

- Exposure to Performance Testing and Security Testing.

- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise applications.

- Prior team leadership or mentoring experience will be an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
