Role Overview:
My client is a leading Indian IT MNC. You will design, build, and implement a modern OpenTelemetry-based observability framework. This role is critical for a high-profile cloud platform go-live, driving operational visibility across distributed global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect Observability: Build OpenTelemetry solutions using the LGTM stack (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir).
- Manage Containers: Deploy services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and VMWare Kubernetes Services (VKS).
- Automate Infrastructure: Deliver clean Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- Configure Landing Zones: Support Azure Landing Zone setups aligned with strict enterprise governance.
- Drive Go-Live: Own platform validation, rapid issue remediation, and stabilization during launch.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with multi-region engineering and DevOps teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- Core Stack: OpenTelemetry, LGTM Stack (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir/Prometheus).
- Cloud & Orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS, VKS), Azure Landing Zones.
- Automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, YAML, Bash.
- Scripting: Strong Python skills (Go language exposure is a big plus).
- Legacy Monitoring Tools: Exposure to SolarWinds, Splunk, and ServiceNow ITSM.
Preferred Experience:
- Enterprise-grade cloud transformation programs.
- Strong DevOps / SRE background.
- Scalable cloud-native monitoring implementation.
